Family Gaming Wii- No It Has Poker

Surely the Wii has been put down as a family console? Why is it that you can even see these Poker games on the console? Well there is actually a fairly decent reason behind it all.

Of course Ninendo want people to be playing their games but they do not want to be restricting it to the family alone. Right, when was the last time the fans saw a decent game! Nintendo felt it would be better to bring in all the gamblers to the console over brining in the fans by making a decent game, wheres the next decent game Nintendo.

So although this game isn’t likely to give you any real rakeback whether that comes in the form of full tilt rakeback or pokerstars rakeback it just isn’t going to be happening with this game.

There does seem to be one major issue with all of this and it comes in the form of the age and the console itself. Is introducing a poker game to the Wii a good idea, after all the console is meant for familys isnt it, well no its not.

There is a possibility your kid could become a gambling addict at the age of 12! Yes it would seem that the rating for this game is a 12 despite gambling laws being at 18. So how come all of these shooters are 18's when a gambling game is only a 12, what is the difference here?

Well there is the proof, the world has gone mad! However if you enjoy a bit of poker and do not like to waste money on playing the real thing then a poker game on the Wii could be right for you.
